Skating School at Iceland
Learn To Skate Program
Semester 2 classes (October-December 2019)
Classes in
Basic skills 1-6 (ages 5- Adult)
Snowplow Sam (ages 3 ½ - 4),
freestyle and specialty classes
All class levels based on enrollment,
we need at least 3 people to start a class
Programs will be held the following eight weeks
Mondays 4:00- 5:00 PM 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16 (8 weeks)
FRIDAYS 12:45-2:45 PM 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20 (8 WEEKS)
Fridays 4:00- 5:00 PM 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20 (8 WEEKS)
Saturdays 10:50-11:50AM 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21 (8 weeks)
Sundays 10:00-11:00AM 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/8, 12/15, 12/22 (8 weeks)
$210.00 for 8 weeks (once a week)
There will be a $17 registration fee added for the
Calendar year sept 2019-june 2020 for USFS LTS Registration (one time yearly fee)
- Half hour skating class (with instructor) /half hour practice (on own)
(Please note- some skaters have their practice first, while others have their instruction first, this is based on age,level and teacher availability)
- Skate Rental will be $6 per time or
you can buy a discount card for the 8 weeks for $40.00 ($5.00 per skate)
Bicycle helmet, gloves or mittens and warm clothing are strongly recommended for attending group lesson classes
One make-up per semseter allowed only with a doctor's note
Registration must be done at least 5 days prior to start date of classes
There are many ways to sign up for our classes, you can give us a call at the skating school office
at (516) 746-1100 (ext. 6) and do the registration over the phone,
you can print the application from down below and send it in with a check or
you can come over to the rink and do it in person.
Please note the skating school office is closed on Thursdays
Benefits for our group lesson skaters on Saturday and Sunday classes
If you want to skate on the public session on the day of your group lesson
you only have to pay $5.00 for the public session and
you to carry over your rental skates for the public
(only applies to public sessions on your specific day of class)
